All players must age up on Aug 1st, 2024 according to the age chart below. Players can play up in a higher division, but cannot play down in a lower division. The online registration will automatically detect the correct age division based on your child's birth year.

Scholarship Information
LCGSA offers full and partial scholarships to financially challenged families so that each child has the opportunity to play softball. To apply for a scholarship, please complete and return the scholarship application below.

Can I sign up to be a coach?
You will have an opportunity to sign up as a volunteer as a head coach, assistant coach, team parent during registration, though it will not guarantee you will be assigned a team. Player requests, along with board consideration will aid in selecting coaches available from our volunteer registrars.
What equipment does my child need?
We recommend each player have their own glove, bat, batting helmet, cleats and equipment bag. Batting helmets are required to have face masks. Pitchers are required to wear face masks and it is strongly recommended for the infield. Jerseys will be supplied as the season begins, but coaches should let parents know what color pants, socks and belt you will need to purchase.
My child is currently on a team and I'd like her to play with that team again. Is that possible?
Yes, but both the coach and the player must request. Players must have played for the team in the previous season. Otherwise, the player will enter the draft process and be open to join other teams.
Our team is moving up an age division, can they still stay together?
Yes, as long as the coach’s roster includes the parents request the coach.
I’d like to form a team, can I select my players?
New teams may select a certain number of players to have on their roster. The rest of their roster will be determined via the draft process. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
If I request a coach, will it be guaranteed?
While coach requests will be reviewed and provided to the coach, the player must be on the coach’s roster. If the player did not play for the coach in the previous season, they will need to be picked up via the draft process. Coaches will be notified if a player has requested them, and not eligible for their pre-submitted roster. Additionally, teams in the division will need to have a close to the same number of players. If there is a team with more players due to a coach’s roster and parent requests, it may need to be adjusted to accommodate filling other team rosters. In the end, coach requests can be made, but they are not guaranteed.
